No maintenance hatch – the system blends in with the architecture
BLOCK front is a next-generation fan coil unit for through-wall mounting. Typical applications include residential buildings, hotel rooms and offices.
The BLOCK front fan coil unit does not require a maintenance hatch. It leaves the suspended ceiling intact and blends in with the decor. The only part of the device that is visible in the room is the elegantly designed grille, the colour of which can be freely selected to suit the space’s colour scheme.
Having no maintenance hatch allows more leeway in the positioning of the device and other technical systems, and saves time because work stages involving the design and construction of the maintenance hatch are no longer needed.
The new Easy Klik installation system and easy maintenance
The BLOCK front model consists of a separate mounting frame and the fan coil unit. This enables a two-stage installation process. The mounting frame can be pre-installed during construction, including water and electrical connections, with the fan coil unit put in place later when it is required.
The frames, which are directly available from the warehouse, bring added flexibility to work and scheduling. The actual fan coil units do not tie up capital, and the device is not exposed to construction dust.
The device connections are made with quick connectors, which are positioned for easy access via the grille. Thanks to the quick connectors, the fan coil unit can be pulled away from the wall for easy access. This allows easy installation, maintenance and removal, when necessary.
Factory-set parameters allow easy automation
Fine tuning is carried out with a smart automation system. Thanks to this, the desired cooling efficacy can be achieved precisely and quietly.
Chiller fan coil units come with factory-set parameters, and the devices are meticulously tested with our software tool before packing for delivery.
The automation is controlled via a wall-mounted controller, which can be easily connected to the fan coil unit with the Startup Wizard tool. This deployment tool enables quick and easy commissioning. It automatically configures the wall controller in line with the parameters of the fan coil unit connected to it.
