Heat pump station for heating and cooling

 

Simultaneous heating and cooling can double the annual energy efficiency of the system, because no energy is wasted in the process. Chiller’s heat pump station combines the functions for chilled water, heat recovery and heated water in a single factory-made and tested solution for maximised energy efficiency. 50–90% installation time can be saved in comparison to a standard solution constructed on-site from individual components. 

In addition to installation being fast, the total costs are lowered because there is no need for on-site installation of required accessories like tanks, pumps, valves and tanks; all Chiller equipment is always delivered factory-assembled and ready to use. Also, the project schedule becomes more reliable as on-site work is minimised.
Integrated Chilltronic automation controls the energy management between heating, cooling and energy regeneration, as well as all the other functionality of a heat pump station. There is also Service Next IoT connectivity that allows online monitoring and control of the equipment.
Applications for the heat pump stations can be found both in commercial and residential buildings and in industrial facilities. Geothermal heat, waste heat or process heat can be utilised for heat recovery, and any excess energy can be stored and later recovered from the boreholes.

The commissioning time decreases significantly as all Chiller equipment goes through full-scale factory testing performed with customer parameters, so no full-scale test runs are needed on the site.

Each heat pump station is tailored to customer requirements and needs. HVAC engineers select the functions wanted and the requirements with the option-selection portal. Time is saved in the design phase as the mechanical drawings with service spaces, flow diagrams and electrical diagrams are available right from the start of the design phase.
The integrated design of the heat pump station requires less space in the machine room, which saves on construction costs and makes installation during building modernisation much easier.

Even in cases of naturally caused temperature variation, a stable process can be obtained with the Chiller heat pump system.

| Control automation with an IoT interface

 Connectivity to the Service Next IoT cloud is included in the Chilltronic automation. Service Next enables the remote monitoring and control of the cooling system. The availability and performance of the equipment will be constantly monitored by Service Next, and alerts and notifications can be sent to a mobile phone or by email directly from the system. Also, monthly reports about performance are available from the Service Next portal.
