The outdoor-installed NovaArctic 290 chilled water station, operating with a natural refrigerant, is an environmentally friendly solution for providing cooling in buildings. The R290 refrigerant complies with the strictest environmental and F-gas regulations, making it a safe choice for the long term. The Global Warming Potential (GWP) of the natural refrigerant R290 is only 0,02.
Energy Efficient
The NovaArctic290 features four compressors, enabling an energy-efficient four-stage capacity control. At partial load, only the compressors required to produce the desired cooling capacity are in operation. The system’s efficiency has been enhanced through optimized component selection, and energy efficiency can be further improved by integrating free cooling, which utilizes cold outdoor air for cooling production.
Cost-Effective and Quick to Install
The NovaArctic290 chilled water station allows for a short turnaround time on-site. The time savings are significant compared to a traditional water chiller system. The factory-prepared indoor module and factory-performed system tests significantly reduce on-site installation time. On-site, it only requires connecting the two units to each other and integrating them into the building’s cooling network.
User-Friendly System Pair
The indoor and outdoor units work seamlessly together as a system pair. Both units are centrally controlled via the user interface integrated into the indoor unit. This simplifies the operation and automation of the system.
Efficient Dehumidification
Dehumidification efficiency is ensured by using the coldest intermediate fluid from the system directly in the dehumidification coil. This solution achieves several degrees lower temperature during dehumidification.
Free Cooling
The unit can be equipped with free cooling, which reduces the operating time of mechanical cooling and results in significant energy savings.
