The indoor-installed NovaDual290 unit utilises a natural refrigerant for environmentally friendly production of heating and cooling. The R290 refrigerant complies with the strictest environmental and F-gas regulations, making it a safe choice for the future. The GWP value of the natural refrigerant R290 is only 0.02.

All units are thoroughly tested at Chiller’s  factories and delivered as compact, ready-to-operate systems that can be equipped with extensive optional features regarding water circuits, automation, electrical components, and more.

Safety Concept

The safety concept of the indoor-installed NovaDual290 unit is designed specifically for the R290 refrigerant. In the unlikely event of a fault, the refrigerant is safely discharged through ventilation while the sealed unit structure prevents the refrigerant from leaking. The selection software provides designers with planning guidelines that comply with the safety concept. The unit’s automation system and the supplied exhaust fan ensure safe operation.

Lifecycle Services

We maintain our units throughout their entire lifecycle. The IoT-based remote service integrates optimization, documentation, and maintenance into one reliable solution. The unit’s operation can be monitored and optimized remotely.

Functions

The heat pump is available in different versions depending on the heat source – geothermal energy or heat recovery.

  • In heating operation, the heat pump draws energy from the heat source.
  • In cooling operation, the condenser heat is stored, eg., in an energy well.
  • In combined operation, the condenser heat from cooling is recovered for heating use.
